So, What do y'all do, anyway?
Olive Tree Administrative Services is a fully-remote bookkeeping and administrative firm. We recommend QuickBooks Online for our clients, and we are ProAdvisor certified!
Are y'all accountants?
The short answer is NO. WE ARE NOT CPAs. However, most all of the day-to-day book keeping and "accounting" tasks are typically handled by a bookkeeper. Think of a CPA as a doctor, and us as an RN, if that makes sense. We handle all of the data entry, reconciliations, classifications, invoicing, bill paying and so on. The CPA handles the tax prep. A good bookkeeper makes a CPA's job quick and easy.
We will work alongside your CPA to keep your books correct and complete.
Do y'all come to the office?
No, we are fully remote. With today's technology, there is not much reason for an onsite bookkeeper anymore! Keep in mind, that's one less office taken up, one less desk, one less computer, and one less headache!
We still run a paper ledger, can you help?
Absolutely! As long as you are willing to switch over to QuickBooks Online, we can handle all of the conversion process. We can even train you on how to use QuickBooks Online!
